Dubai, UAE (August 9, 2017):  Better Life, one of the leading home appliance retailers in the UAE and a division of Easa Saleh Al Gurg Group LLC, has launched the new line of kitchen appliances from ‘Smeg', a leading brand from Italy that features stylish designs and elegant kitchen solutions. Made in partnership with world renowned architects, Smeg's portfolio at Better Life is marked by an eclectic mix of large and small appliances that can convert a contemporary kitchen space into a vivid canvas.

Leading the Smeg collection  is its ‘50's Retro Style' refrigerator line that fuses aesthetics with technology whilst displaying recognizable cues of the  style scene from 1950's. From the splatter of Pop Art colours to smooth rounded corners, Better Life's curation of award-winning Smeg products represents a modern interpretation of traditional appliances that breathes new life into the culinary landscape of the UAE

Customers at Better Life can experience Smeg's iconic ‘FAB20 Refrigerator' range  as well as  the smaller domestic appliance collection that consist of toasters, mixers, blenders, kettles, juicers and espresso coffee machines – all crafted in vibrant pastel and other exciting hues.

Ziad Houdeib, General Manager, Better Life, said: “We are thrilled to have Smeg products on our shelves and offer customers multiple choices in home appliances. The new products reflect a confluence of strong design ethos with innovative technology, and go a long way in giving urban homes  a distinct look. This collaboration furthers our ambition to transform Better Life into a one-stop shop for comprehensive kitchen solutions where high-tech functionality meets artistic brilliance through appliances that  simplify household chores.”

The quirky ‘50's Retro Style' family of refrigerators and small appliances have proven to be award-winning designs at numerous prestigious events, including Good Design Award, Designer Kitchen & Bathroom Awards 2015 and Red Dot Design Award 2016 amongst others.

Visually arresting design is not the only reason that will make Smeg a brand of choice at Better Life. Exhibiting a strong technological framework, the '50's Retro Style' refrigerators come with ‘A+++' energy efficiency rating and save up to 20% more energy compared to its predecessor, ensuring that the compressor powers maximum performance at optimal electricity consumption.

In Dubai, Better Life is present in Mall of the Emirates, City Centre Mirdif and on Al Ittihad Road in Deira. It is also present in Abu Dhabi at Al Raha Mall and Dalma Mall.
