Dubai, United Arab Emirates - 08 July 2019: The Ermanno Scervino Maison enters the perfumery world with a creation that embodies the values of the Brand; conceived to move feelings, full of facets, and result of the unprecedent work of three Master Perfumers who worked together in a unique creation.
The Maison: The beauty of Made in Italy is the heart of this job
The Ermanno Scervino Maison has always been a longtime dream. “As a boy, I was immediately attracted to the world of beauty and aesthetics”, says Ermanno Scervino, creative director of the company. “I used to spend the summer in Forte dei Marmi and the Cote d'Azur, and winter in Cortina. These places were always crowded by the great divas of Italian and Hollywood movies, such as Monica Vitti, Sophia Loren, Elizabeth Taylor or Kim Novak. I dreamed, one day, to be the one to dress such beautiful, talented and inimitable women”.
In 2000, together with the current CEO of the company Toni Scervino, the designer launches in Florence the Maison Ermanno Scervino turning his childhood dream into reality.
The Scervino Woman At the service of women's beauty
“I work at the service of women's beauty”, this is how the designer would describe his profession. Ermanno Scervino's focus is on today's sensual but never vulgar, elegant, glamorous, dynamic and world-wide women. She can be a business woman, a mother or a red-carpet star: the designer creates dresses that enhance the strength of the woman who wears them. “I do not have a specific muse.
I rather have in mind a female typology, characterized by a strong personality, a well-defined stylistic identity, who chooses clothes to enhance her character without overpowering it. Perhaps this is the strong point of my proposal: not to design items for just a single type of woman, but for everybody, so to enhance their personal style.”
This is demonstrated by the many women who chose to wear the creations by Ermanno Scervino: Amal Clooney, Nicole Kidman, Angelina Jolie, Rania di Giordania, to name but a few. These women will now be enabled to complete their look with the first fragrance by the Maison from Tuscany, conceived by the creative genius of the designer, Ermanno Scervino, and in cooperation with the thirty-year expertise of Mavive.
Perfumery The Debut
Mavive Spa, historical company from Venice working in the perfumery industry, signed a worldwide licensing agreement with Ermanno Scervino to develop the concept, the essence and the packaging of the first fragrance of the Maison from Florence.
The Bottle A Tribute to Craftsmanship
Ermanno Scervino enters the perfumery world with an exclusive creation embodying in the precious bottle the values of the Brand. An exclusive and iconic jewel-bottle perfectly embodies the sartorial craftsmanship and artisanal know-how typical of the Maison. The attention to details is highlighted in the unique cap, playing with contrasts and transparencies with a vibrant red heart nestling like a transparent, suspended jewel in the boule.
A nude-toned organdy ribbon, one of the most precious materials of the Ermanno Scervino creations, gently covers the neck of the bottle. The precious box made of precious paper reminiscent of the weft of a fabric combines the craft of the artisan with the profound sense of luxury. Its delicate, nude-toned color is further embellished with red and metal details that recall the bottle's design.
The Fragrance - Three women for a tribute to Scervino femininity
The fragrance exalting the femininity of the Maison Ermanno Scervino has a feminine creative mind. Three noses, but most of all three women - Mathilde Bijaoui, Julie Massé and Véronique Nyberg – have worked together creating a unique fragrance, not working individually with different components, rather uniting their savoir-fair and creativity to create an iconic and timeless ultra-feminine signature.
“You could say that composing a fragrance is like tailoring: mixing and matching raw materials, readjusting the formula, until it's the right fit. And of course, all this with style! I truly believe that a fragrance is the final touch to a perfect outfit”, says Julie Massé.
Noble raw materials from the most recognizable Italian Heritage, are the source of inspiration for an unexpected creation, ready to be a timeless fragrance.
“Ermanno Scervino has an innovative approach to fashion. He plays with different fabrics in the same piece of clothing: fresh flowing silk, warm comfy wool, delicate cashmere... This inspired us to create a multi-textured fragrance. Moreover, his work is always ultra-feminine with a rock attitude, very modern. We chose precious raw materials to translate all this into a fascinating fragrance that would become the Ermanno Scervino iconic scent”, says Véronique Nyberg.
Full of facets, innovative and unexpected contrasts, the perfume is characterized by an elegant and addictive jus exalting a surprising Tuberose merging with the delightful softness of Gianduia.
“Giving texture to a fragrance is key. In this creation, we created texture from the top to the dry down. With the velvety petals of Tuberose followed by the intense addiction of Gianduia, both soft and dense. And the base is a blend of woods, vanilla and musks that is smooth and warm. So many emotions and feelings can come from a fragrance!” says Mathilde Bijaoui.
The fragrance opens with an irresistible gourmand note, donated by the softness of the Gianduia accord merging with the preciousness of White Flowers.

A gourmand and floral attraction, where a surprising Tuberose is the main ingredient of this unique and irresistible fragrance.
Tuberose Absolute Coconut Neo Jungle Essence, Jasmine Absolute
The Jungle Essence extraction is an exclusive formula of Maison Mane, enabling an absolute olfactory precision through the use of “supercritical” solvents for both the flower and the raw fruit material.
The oriental and woody base notes highlight the sensual character of the fragrance.
