    National Defense College Visits Abu Dhabi Ports

    Abu Dhabi, UAE, 24 April 2017 - Abu Dhabi Ports, the master developer, operator and manager of Abu Dhabi's commercial and community ports as well as Khalifa Industrial Zone, KIZAD, received a delegation from the National Defense College in KIZAD’s HQ in Taweelah to observe, first-hand the ports’ safety procedures, prevention plans and crisis management and preparedness.   The delegation was headed by Brigadier Staff Eng.     The Big Heart Foundation Donates $1 million Towards Scholarships for 21 Syrian Students in Lebanon

    The initiative aims to cover students’ university tuition fees and their living expenses. Sharjah, 2 April 2017 - As the crisis in Syria leaves children and young people in increasingly difficult circumstances, The Big Heart Foundation (TBHF), a Sharjah-based global humanitarian charity dedicated to helping refugees and people in need worldwide, has donated $1 million (AED3.67 million) to cover the university tuition and living expenses for  21 Syrian refugee students in Lebanon.
