Fahad Al-Jalajil, met on Monday, March 14th, at his office in Riyadh with His Excellency the Ambassador of the European Union, Mr. Patrick Simonnet, accompanied by the Head of Commercial and Economic Affairs at the European Commission to the kingdom. The meeting dealt with several issues related to health cooperation opportunities between Saudi Arabia and EU countries.

937 achieved 90% customer satisfaction level
Riyadh: Saudi Health said on Monday, August 8, that its 937 toll-free hotlines received 8.8 million calls during the first half of 2022. Of those 2.5 million calls inquired about urgent medical consultations, while 350 thousand calls reported incidents that were resolved promptly, achieving a customer satisfaction rate of 89.6%.
The Ministry renewed its commitment to further improve services provided through 937 by adding additional options, such as appointment booking services for primary health centers, stop-smoking clinic appointments, referrals to major hospitals, as well as technical support for e-health applications.

Rapid intervention ended the two-year-old suffering from rare headaches
Riyadh: A Saudi surgical team at the Maternity & Children Hospital of Makkah managed to end the suffering of a two-year-old child from recurrent brain infections due to a congenital cyst.
The medical team explained that the mother noticed the child holding his head and crying continuously, the condition developed into pus coming out of the back of his head, in addition to a decrease in consciousness.
When he was transferred to the hospital, an MRI was performed, which revealed an increase in the size of the congenital cyst with pus gathering in the cerebellum, pressuring the neighboring nerve tissue, a condition that could have been fatal if not treated.

Riyadh: Saudi Ministry of Health convoy for inpatient pilgrims set sail early morning on Tuesday, July 5, after a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic. Abu Dhabi, May 1, 2021: Ambulatory Healthcare Services, a SEHA healthcare facility, announced the opening of a new drive-through screening center in Al Sarouj area in Al Ain.
The new center is composed of 6 tracks: 2 for vaccination and 4 for PCR nose swab and DPI laser-based testing with a capacity of 200 vaccinations and 800 nose swabs and laser tests per day.
