Sports fans in the Middle East are spoilt for choice over the coming months, with a host of thrilling events scheduled to be hosted in the region.

The DP World Tour Championship will take place on the Earth Course at Jumeirah Golf Estates in Dubai from November 16-19.

The eyes of the horse racing world will be on Meydan Racecourse next March as the 28th edition of the Dubai World Cup is staged.

The race is the culmination of the prestigious Dubai World Cup Carnival, which runs from early January until the final week in March.

The total prize money for the Dubai World Cup race last year was a whopping $12 million, with the winning connections pocketing a cool $7.2m.

A feature of the event is the closing ceremony, which featured drones, aerobatic planes, pyrotechnics and more in 2022.
