Social awareness campaign during March 21 - 25, 2022 across radios in three languages wrapped in competition H2O

Dubai, March 29, 2022:  The global e-commerce based direct selling company, QNET, held a campaign on water sustainability and plastic alternatives awareness campaign kick starting the activity across radios on the World Water Day on March 21, 2022.

In a statement, QNET said the five-day campaign that ended on March 25, 2022, was part of the company's many CSR initiatives it has been doing over the years across global geographies to drive community awareness on crucial issues of social and economic importance.
“Enhancing awareness on sustainability and help foster the culture of using recyclable alternatives to plastic is a significant movement across the world which QNET has always been keen to support. In the wake the climate change issues the world is facing, as well as acute water stress in the regions like the Middle East, the campaign is absolutely imperative,” said CEO of QNET, Ms. Malou Caluza.

The QNET campaign was run across three radio stations in the UAE in three languages – Arabic, Malayalam, and Hindi - catering to the prominent diaspora communities. The radio stations were Al Rabia 107.8, Radio Mirchi 102.4 FM, and Gold FM 101.6.

Interestingly, the social awareness campaign was run as a competition – H2O – the chemical formula of water, to make the activity unique.
“With this campaign, QNET wants to inculcate a culture of conscious living by driving awareness on water sustainability issues and plastic alternatives, both important for humanity, climate and environment,” Ms. Caluza said, adding that the campaign is aligned to the 'Dubai Can' initiative launched by HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai.
The 'Dubai Can initiative aims at reducing single-use plastic water bottle waste in the city by encouraging individuals to use refillable water bottles, enabling access to free and safe drinking water through the installation of water stations across Dubai and motivating communities to install water filters in their homes, offices, and schools.

The QNET campaign also promoted HomePure Nova Water Filter by associating it with supporting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal of 'Clean water and sanitation for all.'
