Abu Dhabi - 10, October 2021: During its regular surveys and assessments, the Environment Agency - Abu Dhabi (EAD) recently monitored one of the rare blue holes located in the waters of Al Dhafra region in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. The perimeter of the Al Dhafra Blue Hole is approximately 300 meters long and 200 meters wide, encompassing a total area of around 45,000 square metres.
Preliminary analysis of the seabed area forming the center of the Al Dhafra Blue Hole, indicates a depressed, semi-circular area roughly around 5,000 square meters. The semi-circular area topography is flat with a maximum depth of 12 meters and has a bottom composition combination of silt and sand.

Riyadh, Oct. 5, 2021 — LG Electronics (LG) has announced its goal to use almost 600,000 tonnes of recycled plastic by 2030 in a concerted effort to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the value chain. The goal is a part of LG’s larger initiative to create a take-back ecosystem for electronic waste and increase the use of post-consumer recycled (PCR) materials in its consumer electronics and home appliance products.

Dubai – 27, September 2021: With EXPO2020 Dubai around the corner, Dubai Customs announced they completed 1,432 customs declarations for EXPO goods, with 12,600 tons of goods, that has a value of AED948 million, cleared especially for the grand event.
Dubai Customs revealed the facilities and preferential services it dedicates to exhibitors and visitors of EXPO2020 Dubai, which kicks off on 1st October. These include online registration and submission of customs declarations and approval of electronic documents without the need to visit the customs centers.
Exhibitors to obtain permits and licenses can use Dubai Trade Portal. Countries participating in EXPO2020 are exempted of registration fees, and exhibitors’ documents will have unique codes for preferential and speedy clearance.
